Excursions

We are happy to offer you several trips giving you the opportunity to see more of the island:

By boat:
We offer a tour of the island during which you will see some of the many schools of dolphin, pilot whale and other marine life that the ocean surrounding La Gomera is teeming with. You will also visit the famous cliff formation “Los Organos” (The Organ Pipes), a truly magnificent piece of natural weathering leaving the enormous cliff face looking like the pipes of a church organ.

On foot/bicycle:
A day spent walking or cycling through the majestic and unique Garajonay National Park, a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the world’s oldest laurel rain forest, is a day to be remembered!

The upper reaches of this densely wooded region are almost permanently shrouded in cloud and swirling mist, which has created lush and diverse vegetation. The slopes are criss-crossed by paths, presenting varying levels of challenge to walkers, and stunning views to reward the energetic.

The central mountains catch the moisture from the trade wind clouds and create a jungle climate rich in vegetation high in the cooler air, which contrasts with the warmer sun-baked cliffs near sea level.

Car Hire:
We are able to offer you a full car hire service through our partners here in the valley. Simply let us know your requirements in advance and we can arrange for the car to be ready for you on your arrival.
